Sabine Lake Fishing is holding up Good with the water coming down Neches River/Sabine River has pushed the Speckled trout to the south shoreline fishing the louisiana shoreline catching trout to 4 lbs 2ft to 4ft water also redfish to 10 lb keying on mullet is my best bite fishing shell humps mud flats drift fishing The Flounder Pounder CT Red Shad/Green Red Flake on redfish 1/4 jig best for redfish Speckled Trout bite fishing Browns sea devil rootbeer/Black Cat 1/8 TruLock Jigs all tipped with fishbites shrimp strips and Xtreme Fishbites Paddle Tail 3" Rootbeer/gold on 1/4 jig heads. North Sabine Lake holding good numbers of redfish in ICW Black bayou/ bessie height marsh were catching limits of redfish to 10 lbs and nice flounder incoming tide the Entergy canal holding good numbers black Drum Sheephead /redfish on dead shrimp out going tides best bite. Keith lake Fishing is good for redfish in the cut with Speckled trout mixed in also drift fishing the flats best on incoming tide. Sabine Pass Jetties Redfish have been good on crab also sheephead and Drum on dead Shrimp The short rigs in the gulf east/west of the sabine jetties holding good number of white trout.

Sabine Lake Fishing is great I am fishing the birds from the north end sabine lake to the south the fishing has not changed much from last months Report for the first 2 weeks of november still catching limits of trout to 4 lbs feeding on shrimp also limits of redfish to 12 lbs my best bait is browns Sea Devil Chartreuse/ Red Tail Devils Eye Glow/Chart all Rigged with the TruLoc Jigheads 1/4 Tipped with fishbites Shrimp/crab. Trout Fishing has slowed some with the shrimp moving out to the gulf I am fishing my winter pattern fishing on the shorelines keying on mullet fishing the deep drops 4 ft over shell bottom /mussel flats best Fishing Nice Trophy Trout 4 to 7 lbs Drift Fishing keying on Bait 2 to 4 ft Water over shell/ mussel flats My best Baits have been Browns Devils Eye and Sea Devil chart/ Pearl/Chart Tail 1/16 1/32 TruLock Jig Head working the baits very (slow). Flounder Fishing is great we are boxing limts of 10 Fish Per day Fishing the louisiana Shoreline and Sabine Channel Flounder to 6 lbs 2 to 5 ft water This will Slow Down as cold Fronts are Coming In Faster pushing these fish to the gulf. FishBites Best Baits 3.5" Saltwater Shrimp/5" root/beer Gold and New Penny Xtreme Scent Release. 3/8 jig heads working fishbites baits slow on the bottom also C T Shad Chart/ Red Tail Tipped with Fisbites also Great Baits. Sabine Lake Fishing is great fishing the north end of Sabine lake with the northerns coming in. The north winds are keeping the tides low and the birds working everywhere up north shrimp/mullet coming out of the marshes heading to the gulf. Speckled trout 2 to 3 lbs are moving on the flats also redfish to 10 lbs. My best bait is Browns Devils Eye/Sea devil Glow/Chart Tiped with fish bits shrimp The birds are working over shrimp in mid lake also we are catching good numbers of trout and redfish mixed. The flounder fish is in full swing we are catching these fish on points and cuts on falling tides best bait is LSU Bayou Chub Minnow Tipped with fish-bits shrimp and Fishbites Xtreme scent Release 3" Paddle Tail Root Beer/Gold. Flounder to 4 lbs. Fishing South end of sabine lake over the reef also great on out going tides i am running afternoon trips best bite off blue buck point limits of trout and redfish. Sabine pass channel holding good number of flounder also Fishing on the louisiana shore line 2 to 5ft water. Sabine Fishing is great overall we are fishing up north in east pass black bayou early morning bite best on out coming tides the light north winds bait moving out of the marshes in to Sabine Lake birds working over shrimp my best bait Bayou chub minnow glow/chart with 1/4 oz browns tru- lock jigs. Bessie height marshes also holing good numbers of redfish with lots of slot fish to 10 lbs flounder fishing also picking up there with good numbers showing the marsh also fishing the cuts and points and moving water my best bait Fishbites new Xtreme Scent Release 3.5" New Penny/Glitter w/ 1/8 jig head. Louisiana shoreline fishing is improving with the light fronts coming in fishing the shell and mud flats flounder are moving around the points and bayous staging up to start feeding best on outgoing tide. South end of sabine lake has been great for Redfish fishing early morning bite birds working of schools of redfish we have been boxing limits to 10 lbs also with some trout mixed in this pattern will last all of oct with the fronts coming in 2 to 3 a week. Best baits Browns Glow/Chart Sea Devil With 1/4 tru-lock jigs Tiped With Fish Bites Shrimp when the birds stop feeding on shrimp my go to Midcoast Corks The Mojo/Inticer rigged with 1/16oz jig head drifting. this pattern is working for me very well when the bait fish and the shrimp and down. Sabine Pass Channel flounder fishing picking up flounder to 4 lbs on points and drops 2ft to 6 ft water keying on birds on shoreline and mullet on the bank Fish bites Xtreme Shrimp 3.5"best bait for me. Sabine Pass Jetties fishing hit and miss but bull redfishing good few trout also mixed in. Flounder fishing improving boxing good fish to 3 lbs this will pick up in sept. South end of sabine birds working best on out going tides with the last 2 fronts this bite has been great redfish to 10 lbs also nice speckled trout Browns glow/chart Cjn pepper Tiped with fishbite shrimp. Flounder fishing picking up on the louisiana shoreline fishing cuts points and drains. Sabine pass ship holding flounder also working the points drops over shell and mud flats 4 to 10ft water. Sabine Pass jetties been hit and miss for me best on incoming tide lots of trout but also small fish louisiana beach front has been better fishing and bigger trout fishing on light north winds incoming tides the Short rigs to the west and the east holding good numbers of trout also. Sabine Lake Fishing has been great we are fishing up north the speckled trout are off the mud and shell flats on the ICW i am fishing 2 to 4ft water keying on mullet and shrimp catching nice trout redfish also mixed in the bite has been best on incoming tides Browns Plumtreuse Sea Devil with Tru- lock 1/4 oz jig head also tiped with fishbite shrimp. The bessie height marsh also holding good number of redfish we are fishing the flats catching limits of redfish on stanley Swim Jigs 3/8 with fishbites Xtreme 3" padddle trailers this had works great fishing grass flats up north site fishing all these redfish up to 10Lbs also fishing midcoast corks Lil Moe w/fishbaits Xtreme 3.5" shrimp working very fast 1 to 2 ft water. the neches river has been holding lots of speckled trout with the saltwater all the way up the river. MirrOdine 3/8 silver Twitchbait /She Dog glow/chart.Birds working in midlake lots of small trout with some keepers redfish are schooling also keying on bait fishing with 3/4 oz jigs/ browns glow/chart sea devils slow rolling the bait on the bottom. Redfish/ Flounder are showing on the louisiana shore line in bayous and points my best bite on outgoing tides Bayou chub minnow LSU Sabine Pass jetties is hit and miss with the winds high some days trout to 5 lbs the beach front has been the best for me with limits of trout fishing the louisiana side down to holly beach rocks keying on mullet/shrimp.

Sabine Lake fishing was very slow the first two weeks of May. We had lots of rain. I am fishing Sabine Lake on the South reef. The best bite is incoming tide. Black/Chart Reaction Chub Minnows are working well on the South reef. There has been bird action at the end of the incoming tide. Trout and redfish are showing up in 3-10ft of water in Sabine channel. The best baits for the channel are Cajun Pepper Brown Devil Eye and Brown Sea Devil Black/Chart on 1/4oz True-lock jigs. The water is clearing in the Sabine channel and trout are showing on the jettie rocks. Trout are also showing up in good numbers on the beach front and the best bite is on incoming tide early in the morning. Fishing is best with a light North wind. Limits of trout up to 7lbs.

Sabine Lake fishing has been very touch we are fishing the south end of sabine lake with redfish on the sabine on the louisiana shore line and the reef best baits browns devils eye 1/4 tru- lock jigs and Xtream Fish bite 5" Root Beer/ Gold Jerk Bait the water is still coming down making the bite tough i and fishing bessie height marsh boxing redfish flounder best bait U99 recation black/chart and 12 Fathom Fat Sam Mullet New Penny best bait 1/4 jigs fishing in the marsh 6 ft deep in the ditches to the flats best on outgoing tides. With all the water still coming down i am fishing big lake/ west cove flounder fishing is good in the cameron ship channel to 5 lbs and nice Redfish to 10 lbs speckled trout fishing best at the end of high tide.

Sabine Fishing is great we are boxing good numbers of Speckled Trout to 6 lbs drifting over shell and mud flats redfish are also mixed in with limits also. white shrimp have moved in and the bird action is great on incoming tides i have been fishing the south end and to mid lake also running the louisiana shoreline fishing the flats 2 to 4 water using browns cajun pepper tipped with Fishbites shrimp and 12 Fathom- 6" Buzz Tail" H38 redshade/wounded mullet 1/8 jig heads the cold fronts are still moving in also fishing bessie height marsh having great trips limits of redfish in the marsh and nice flounder also fishing the neches river and the ICW on the north flats fishing with stanley 1/4 oz chatter swim jigs tiped with fish bite shrimp. Flounder Run is in full swing fishing the points and deep drops on the louisiana shoreline boxing good numbers of flounder to 4 lbs. sabine pass channel is holding good number of flounder also my best bait is fishbite Xtreme scent 3.5" shrimp/ Reaction Chub minnow black/chart with 1/4 jig fishing 2 to 10 foot water. Sabine Pass Jetties fishing is good for redfish and drum fishing close to the rocks.

Sabine Lake Fishing is Great i am fishing up north on the northers Catching limits of Redfish and Speckled Trout we are fishing the bessie height marshes blacks bayou icw incoming tides my best bite also fishing birds my best baits are Stanley shrimp tails/browns devil eye cajun pepper and 1/4oz tru lock jigs tiped with fishbite shrimp also drift fishing the north sabine flats over mussel/shell 3 to 5 ft water catching nice speckled trout . The south winds started blowing and incoming tides got better this month the shrimp are moving in over the reef the water is clearing to green on incoming. i am fishing under the birds and drifting the reef boxing nice speckled trout to 6 lbs on the south end. The Flounder fishing is picking up with good numbers showing daily seeing more bait fish along the louisiana shoreline my best bait fishbite Xtream Scent 3.5" shrimp sabine pass channel is starting to hold few trout and flounder sabine pass jetties also holding big redfish sheephead and drum.

Sabine Lake fishing is good we have had little or no rain at all the speckled trout are holding up north on sabine lake and in bessie height marshes and the ICW and black bayou marshes also catching speckled trout and redfish under the birds picking up shrimp early morning when the winds lay with the low tides the bigger speckled trout are moving out of the marshes on to the flats i am having great trips on trout to 5 lbs and redfish limits to 10 lbs also mixed in are nice texas flounder i am keying on mullet jumpimg in 2 to 4 ft water my best bite is on incoming tides fishing with Browns Sea Devil Black/Chart&Cjn Pepper & browns 1/8 Truloc Jigheads also tiped with fish bites shrimp as the tides keep coming in the speckled trout fishing gets better drifting over shell and mussel flats off the icw the neches river bessie height marsh also holding good number of speckled trout 16 to 22" lots of texas slot redfish limits on most trips fishing the flats and also deep point and bank drops keying on nervouse mullet we are sight fishing these redfish near or on the flats in bessie height and black bayou marshes also the speckled trout are feeding on the flats with the redfish fishing them with 5" Stanley wedge Tails working very slow 2 to 6 ft water my best color morning glory rigged with the stanley frog hooks 5/O this bait is working very well and it is weedless and able to work in the grass the louisiana shoreline holding trout also when the winds will lay but with the northwest winds it has been very hard for me to fish that side of the lake but i have had a few good trips on trout and redfish this month drifting 4 to 7 ft water when i can fish there.
