We have lots of salt water and lots of bait way back up in the marshes of Two Rivers. The trout have moved out of the marshes and are now feeding on shrimp in both the river and Lake Sabine.

The water is really high, but will go down as the cold front comes through. Chances of fishermen limiting out in Lake Sabine is very good based on the water conditions and the number of trout in the waters.

We are fishing for trount on 3/4 ounce bones that are colored silver and gold. We will be walking in the beach on the bottom so we can get the best bite. The action will be good for redfish but catching the big speckled trout will still be some work. Fishermen will have a better chance of catching some nicer fish by focusing on the outside edges of the schools.

Flounder fishing will get really good, it will just take some time for the fish to come out of the marshes.

We will also be fishing for redfish in the popping water by throwing popping cocks along the banks and points.
