Sabine lake fishing is good in north Sabine Lake. Good Trout fishing in Coffee Ground Cove, East Pass and Middle Pass. Fish in the points and in the drops off of the I CW and middle pass. Make sure you are in 5 to 15 of water and use an 1/8 ounce jig head with red Shad z man paddle tail. Boxing trout when the weather lets me get out there.
We had some nice Sunny days, Best tide is the incoming tide. I’m finding mullet staying with the bait. Neches River and Bessie Heights marsh have been good. We’re fishing in the marsh and in the ditches in 15 foot of water.
Catching slot redfish on Live shrimp with popping cork and also Carolina. Catching sheep head, drum, slot flounder and redfish fishing over shell in mud. Speckle trout are holding in the ditches in about 15 to 25 of water off the points using ledges Z Man Minnow Z morning glory chartreuse tail. Best be using 1/8 with the man red eye Jig head.
Sabine Pass fishing is good for both Red Fish and Flounder are picking up in the Channel. Flounder fishing has picked up using fishing in 5 to 20 feet of water 1/4 ounce jighead Z man and 3 inch minnow Z red shad. Fat redfish and trout are mixed in with the catches, Fishing live shrimp with popper and Corks also Carolina rig with Live shrimp off the channel. Sabine Pass jetty redfish near the rocks on live bait. We are also catching Sheep Head and Drum on the bottom with both dead and live shrimp
