Fishing on Lake Sabine has been very good.
We have been focused on the south side of the lake fishing the points and the drops catching nice limits of redfish. We have been using shrimp with popping cork and also 5 inch plastics with 1/8 ounce jigs, all these methods are producing nice trout.
Mixed in with the redfish making long drift and two shell pads, we’re also fishing up in the Bayou throwing both of the same thing. We’re also fishing in the intercoastal waterways, Fishing the rock piles, and points droping with shrimp with popping corks and also with Carolina rig catching limits of sheephead and drums and also hooking into a few flounder which are showing up on the way back in on the south end of the Lake.
