Fishing is good on Lake Sabine, we’re fishing the intercoastal Canal, catching nice sheep, drum, mixed red fish, and a few trout. We are using live Poppin carts over piles and mud flats and shell flats on incoming tide.
Fishing the jetty this week got out and we had some very nice drum and some oversized redfish and some slot redfish. Fishing bean channel, catching redfish, sheep, drum a few trout and the flounder showing up. Great fishing on the north Levee homes pleasure Island, they’re catching limits of speckled trout in the morning on last trip with popping carts and Platt 5 inch plastics early morning bite.
