We are boxing limits of redfish in the I CW Keith lake, nice flounder and some trout. Sabine Lake is holding lots of fish we are catching slot reds and nice flounder. We are also managing to get some Texas slot trout over Shell humps and points and Drift Z Man Minnows Z 3 inch Lime Pearl.
Best bait is 1/4 ounce jig head, we are also using live shrimp with popping corks and are getting some very good Sabine Lake Fishing. We are using the same pattern Fishing over shell on the Louisiana shoreline 2in to 4 foot of water. We are making long drifts keying on mullet, find the mullet and you’ll find the trout. The redfish and flounder fishing also has been good on Sabine fishing the points of the drops and the bayous. Also, a few birds working in the evening oversize red fish underneath, the birds and some trout mixed in. I’m also fishing the channel on La side over shell and mud 2 to 4ft Water DOA 3inch Call with 1/8 jig heads.
