“Our trip with Captain Randy was a great experience. He really knows the Sabine Lake. He impressed us with the way he was with the younger kids, he was very patient. Randy took us to the spot where’s we would catch fish. We would use his guide service again. Thank you for a great time.”

“Many thanks to captain Randy. I had explained to Captain Randy that I wanted to learn about fishing on Sabine lake, and be able to have better success on return visits when fishing from my own boat. Captain Randy did not disappoint. Captain Randy is very knowledgable on fishing Sabine, and explains things in understandable terms that make perfect since. We caught a lot of fish, and good solid fish at that. Thanks again Captain Randy, you are our Guide! No need for me to try others!”

“I recently fished with Captain Randy on 09/17/15 and enjoyed it thouroughly. I told him I wanted to learn some specific areas instead of just trying to chase gulls and terns. It was a very productive and informative trip, Captain Randy is extremely knowledgeable of the Sabine fishery and I would highly recommend booking a trip with Captain Randy today.”

“We fished with Captain Randy the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, 2014. My husband, daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our time with Captain Randy. We hope he enjoyed his time with us as well, he was very complimentary of our daughter’s fishing ability. We caught our limit and Captain Randy made the extra effort of getting one of the local restaurants to cook our fish that evening. Ted and Kimberly really enjoyed that fish and we appreciated Captain Randy’s efforts in getting that accomplished. Thank you, Randy! We recommend Captain Randy totally and do plan to come back and fish with him again.”

“We just want to thank you for the great trip we had with you last Sunday (9-21-14). I thought about the scripture “Love is patient. Love is kind” when you were so gracious in putting up with us for seven hours. We appreciated all your help, and you may have had to use the “tough love” version of love a couple of times, but we genuinely appreciated that too. You obviously love what you’re doing and we’re just glad that you were able to do it with you for a few hours. It was a privilege and an honor to go out with you.”

“I went on a trip with randy today with my cousin and my dad. Now it was a pretty rough day today with about 15 mph winds. But Capt. Randy still put us on the fish. We caught around 30 fish the whole day and came out with 12 keepers. 5 flounder, 3 reds, 4 trout. All in all I would say it was a great day and would recommend Capt. Randy Foreman to anyone that wants to catch some great fish.”

“Hi we recently fished with Captain Randy and would like to leave a testimonial on his site: August 1, 2014, we fished with Capt. Randy’s guide service, despite a rain shower we ventured on out. Capt. Randy was very knowledgeable and put us on a lot of fish. His equipment was top notch and his personality was excellent for making the day an enjoyable experience. I would recommend Capt. Randy to anyone wanting to have a good on the water. Looking forward to going out again. Thanks Capt. Randy!”

“What a day we had fishing with Captain Randy!!!!! My husband and I have been deep sea fishing for Red Snapper as well as fishing freshwater for Striper and Bass but have never had a day like the day fishing the jetties with Captain Randy. We limited out catching huge red fish and trout. I have never had such an enjoyable day fishing. I fought a red fish for over 20 minutes and she pulled the boat around like we were a cork on the water. What a battle!!!!! As we started catching fish, several other guides came close to catch fish also. Captain Randy’s expertise kicked in and we were the only boat catching fish as all the others watched in disbelief. We picked the “right” guide and had the best day fishing. This absolutely made our trip to the Port Arthur area a memory maker.”

“We started the morning with Captain Randy at sunrise. It was a beautiful morning and we could not ask for better conditions. I have been fishing all my life and fished tournaments for years. I have never hired a guide before. But after 1 conversation on the phone with Captain Randy and I knew I had found my guide. We worked plastics over shell beds and started catching fish 3min from the launch. We only made 3 moves and filled the box with nice trout. Then I mentioned I love Flounder fishing and he took us to his Flounder spot. We were not disappointed. We started boating Flounder immediately and not just potato chip Flounder. Big 2-4# Flounder were the norm. We then hit another trout spot and boated some Large Trout! The day was capped off by watching a few dozen Dolphins feed and play right by the launch. It was an awesome day and I will definitely be hiring Captain Randy again and if you want to catch fish I suggest you do too.”

“Jan 3, 2014. Fished with Captain Randy’s Guide Service Fish Sabine Lake TX Fishing Trip. What a good time we had. Caught so many fish we forgot how cold it was! He taught me more in a few hours about fishing artificials than I have learned in a lifetime on the water. Knowledgeable, patient and fun! Willing to explain as well as instruct. Knows the waterways and where to find the fish. Took home beacoup fish! Do yourself a favor and book a trip. You won’t be disappointed. FISH ON!”

“Despite a 40% chance of rain, we ventured out with Capt. Randy to try our luck with the trout of the area. The action was pretty slow at first, with those nasty Spanish Mackerels eating up our tackle! But Capt. Randy kept us moving until we found the trout we were looking for! We had a great day of fishing (and catching) with some really nice fillets to take home. Our frying pan is out and waiting. Great guide, great day on the water.”

“My son and I went fishing with Captain Randy on Sabine Lake on December 19 2013. It was a little windy and Captain Randy worked hard to put on on fish. We had a great day of fishing and limited out on good size red fish one was 28 inches long. With 3 flounder I would recommend him any time, we had some good eating of reds tonight Thanks Captain Randy.”
– Jim S.
“My father and I just had the best Christmas present a father and Son can have, we went fishing and caught our limit December 19th of 2013. The only problem was my father caught the largest fish a 28″ 10 lbs Red fish. We did take pictures. Capt Randy was very knowledgeable and put us on the fish. His equipment was top notch and his personality was excellent for making the day an enjoyable experience. It was a day I will always remember with my father. If you like to fish and want to have a great memory I would recommend Capt Randy to help make a lasting memory. We will be BACK!”

“My son and I went on a fishing trip with Captain Randy on 2 November 2013. This was an excellent fishing experience. We caught good flounder in less than ideal conditions (strong wind). Captain Randy is very entertaining and really knows his stuff. His equipment is very good. The boat we used on our trip was smooth riding and dry. The Loomis rods are top notch. I would recommend Captain Randy to anybody looking for a first class guided fishing trip.”

“Captain Randy, My bucket list has for some time included a trip south to catch redfish exceeding 25” in length. Most of the TV fishing shows feature trips to the Venice LA area with crowded fishing spots and costs beyond that of the average fisherman. After numerous online searches and several telephone calls I located your guide service for Sabine Lake. You made no promises but said my request for larger reds was “very possible” and we scheduled a trip for late Oct. The weather for our three day trip ranged from very strong winds to dead calm and cloudy to sunny. Other charter boats were also doing well following the brief morning period fishing under the sea bird activity that pinpointed feeding fish. However, the remainder of the day when feeding activity slowed your experience and knowledge kept us catching specs, flounder, and my long sought after redfish. While I caught my share of reds (3-6 pounds) my fishing partner really had a dream come true with reds of 8, 9.25, 10 and another 9.25 plus others. I noticed that at the boat ramp at the end of each day we always had more fish in the box and none of the other charters had more or larger reds. My partner and I were sure we had boated more than 100 fish while trying to stay away from the specs, many of which reached the 3-4 pound range. Thanks again for your patience and your efforts to keep us on the reds. I didn’t catch my big one but I’ll be BACK.”
– John G.
“My friend John and I fished with Capt. Randy three days this Oct. We caught 10 different species of fish. I lost count of how many spec. Trout we caught. We caught two Red fish over 8lbs, one over 9lbs, one that weighed 10.5lbs. plus several smaller ones. We caught large Black Drum, and several large catfish that were release. We also caught 6 Flounder. If you want to catch fish Capt. Randy is the man to hire.”

“My husband Robert and I love fishing in Louisiana. However, since moving to Texas we hadn’t explored the Texas waters. Robert decided to ask some of his coworkers if they could recommend a fishing charter. Each of his coworkers thought that Captain Randy was the best. Captain Randy told us to be at the dock by 7a.m. on this warm September morning. Since this was my first time fishing with a professional, I really didn’t know what to expect. Once we introduced ourselves and chatted for a few moments, I immediately felt at ease because of his warm and friendly personality. After getting on the boat and riding for a few minutes, Captain Randy pointed out some great fishing areas and showed us tips on catching big trout. After catching 3 speckled trout, Randy modeled ways for better casting. My husband and I were able to catch 5 more fish and explored other areas of the Texas and Louisiana waters. Captain Randy truly impressed me with his techniques and his down home personality. I was able to relax, listen to hilarious stories, and catch some beautiful fish. We appreciate the exciting day Randy was able to provide and most of all his professional ideas and experiences will be treasured. My husband and two of his friends have since booked another fishing trip with Captain Randy and I am planning a girl’s fishing excursion sometime soon. Captain Randy, you rock!”
– Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gobert
“This was my first time saltwater fishing and captain Randy made it a great experience. It became very windy on our trip but we still got on the fish. He is very knowledgeable on every aspect of the lake. I would recommend booking your fishing trip with Captain Randy.”
– Kyle F. – Pennsylvania
“The fishing trip was great. Had lots of fun catching Reds & Trout. Defiantly going to come back, one of the best trips I’ve ever had.”

“We fished with captain randy on the 29th of july and had a great time captain randy was very knowledgeable and entertaining we caught a lot of fish because of his expertise we would recomend him to anyone who wants to catch plenty of fish and have a good time thank you for taking us fishing captain randy.”

“Captain Randy was 1) Available, 2) Easily identified as a SME – Subject Matter Expert, 3) Experienced with Saltwater inshore fishing in the Port Arthur area and 4) Responsive to my inquiries… A friend and I went out on a pretty darn tough fishing day. Being experienced Anglers, I knew the HOT SUMMER bite was slow so my expectations were set LOW. We fished the Neches River – Mid-July 2013, got an early start Zero-dark-thirty, fished artificial plastic baits for Speckled Seatrout, “Specs”. First catch was my Cajun Buddy JD, he caught a lifetime BEST Trout 23″ 6 lbs.. Now that’s a surprise when a lifetime fisherman from Arcadia catches his lifetime BEST in a Texas River in the HOT summer. WOW!!! The day was overcast, the BITE slow but we hammered our way thru it, catching almost LIMITS and very few crappy fish – size or species… We ended up with 14 Specs total ranging from 16″ to 23″. Small Red, Huge GAF Top and plenty of good conversation and laughter. GO FISH with Captain Randy, you will be with the BEST on the water that day… “
– L. Mike S. – Huntsville, TX
“I drove 800 plus miles from Canutillo Tx. to fish with Cpt. Randy. He took me on a 45 sec boat ride and put us on the fish. This trout was typical of what we caught. This is my second trip and will see him again in Oct.”
– Wilbert Reid RET. MSG USA 82nd Airborne
“I just wanted to thank you for “putting us on the fish” on Mar.14th. We ate the filets that evening and had our first “half shell” redfish last night. It was delicious. I have told all my friends that booking with you is the way to go. Please forward me the new phone number to book your service. We want to go again before it gets too hot.”
– First Mate, Ron L.
“My husband and I went on our first Sabine Lake fishing experience with Captain Randy in July and had a blast. My husband is a fly fishing guide on the San Juan River in New Mexico and he has not stopped talking about our fishing trip since we went. You see fast and furious fishing on TV and think I will never do that. We did and loved it while fishing with Captain Randy. We can still hear Captain Randy say keep fishing. Thanks Captain Randy.”
– Evan and Travis G. – Farmington NM
“Al and I fished with Captain Randy on the 16th August , the winds had been primarily out of the west for several days before we fished so we were thinking it be would tough going. This was our first trip with Captain Randy. Wow, we had a great trip. Captain Randy not only put us on the fish but the vast amount of knowledge this guy has about the bay was remarkable. He shared a lot of good information and worked harder than any other guide I have fished with. By the end of our trip we had a nice box of fish and a lot of good information to remember. We are planning our next trip now. I would recommend Captain Randy to anyone wanting to have a good day on the water.”
– Mike T.
“Had a great trip with Captain Randy. Caught fish and got good information on why fish do what they do. Great experience. Do yourself a favor and book a trip, you will not regret doing this.”
– Al B. – Houston, TX
“Fishing with you guys was big time fun, “fast and furious fishing” is the real thing and not just wishful thnking. There are no surprises any longer, its the best trip around !!!…….. from now on, its gonna be Fast and Furious Capt Randy Foreman and Sabine Lake fishing on the top of my best fishing days ever. Thanks again Capt Randy for a great trip, and puttin’ us on the reds and trout. Looking forward to going out again soon.”
– Chuck – Kingwood, TX
“Two good friends and I met up with Captain Randy for a morning of fishing on Sabine Lake last Friday. Wow what a great experience. Captain Randy knows how to put you on the fish and keep you on the fish. Captain Randy is very well known and works hard to make sure you have caught a bunch of fish. We had a great time and the clock just spun by as we were busy catching fish. A couple of times during the morning we were casting our rods at light speed pulling in the trout as fast as you could reel. Captain Randy at the helm was yelling at us, they’re on the port; they’re behind us; now they’re on the starboard side. It was great. Once he told me, behind the boat; behind the boat; there REDS. I cast and immediately caught a really nice red. I asked him how he knew because I saw no sign of fish… He said, “because I’m good”… No doubt in my mind.”
– Ken J.
“3 experienced fishing friends and I decided to leave the cold weather in Ohio and joined Captain Randy for a day fishing on Lake Sabine. We have been on many guided fishing tours before but have never been as satisfied with the experience as we were with Randy. He exerts a lot of effort and enthusiastically exercises his boat in an all-out effort to ensure his guests are able to catch their limit of fish. His vast knowledge of the local fishing area is easily apparent. We simply told him what type of fish we would like to catch, he fired up the boat, and put us on the fish ALL DAY. His sense of humor and friendly personality made it feel like we’d known him for years. After our outstanding day of fishing, he and his assistant eagerly cleaned all 70 or 80 lbs of trout, red fish, and flounder. I really can’t say enough thanks to Captain Randy for the experience he provided. We’ll never forget the fun times we had with him and will definitely return.”
– John H. – Mowrystown, OH
“A buddy of mine planned a trip for 3 of us to fish Sabine lake with Captain Randy. All I can say is, “wow!” within 3 hours we had pretty much boxed out on specs. Good size trout, and we tore them up! Heck, we managed to catch many good size redfish in the process. Captain Randy put us on the schools repeatedly using his years of experience and vast knowledge patterns and technique. As for flounder… He delivered as promised. We managed to land around 7. There will definatly be more charters. Book this guide! Well worth it. Thanks captain Randy. See ya soon. You got us hooked.”
– Tom M. – Lufkin, TX
“Wow! Captain Randy is the man! This was my first trip with a guide and it was well worth it. Randy put me and my two friends on the fish all day long. Beautiful trout , big reds and flounder. Full box of trout within two hrs. Best day of fishing I’ve ever had . I’m sore from setting hooks all day and I’ve got a freezer full of good fish. Had an absolute blast.”
– Nick H. – East, TX
“My friend Jim and I fished with Capt Randy on Sept. 13, 2011. Capt. Randy’s knowledge of fishing Sabine Lake is amazing. He does know where the fish are. We caught fish almost all day. We limited on Reds and did well with the trout and caught 2 flounder. The highlight of the day was on the last cast of the day. A triple and all 3 landed. It went like this: up at 4:45…breakfast…on the water around 6:30…first fish 6:45 and last fishes at 1:50 was a triple—-PRICELESS. Thanks Capt. for a very memorable and exciting time. We are still talking and FBing with the pictures.”

“June 4th my son and I had a day fishing with Captain Randy. Had a great day with significant success with Flounder and Specs. Even though my son and I are ardent and experienced fishermen of this area, Captain Randy’s knowledge of current conditions and hot spots made our day a success. His experience and skills were impressive and we each learned a few new tricks. Highly recommend Captain Randy to anyone from beginner to old salt. Will look forward to another opportunity to fish with him.”

“ON MAY, 19th. THE WIFE AND I WERE ABLE TO FISH WITH CAPT. RANDY. I HAVE FISHED WITH HIM SEVERAL TIMES BUT THIS WAS THE WIFE’S FIRST. I MUST ADMIT CAPT. RANDY HAS MORE PAITENCE THAN I. THE WIFE IS NOT THE BEST CASTER IN THE WORLD BUT IN A SHORT TIME CAPT. RANDY HAD HER CASTING LIKE SHE WAS BORN WITH A ROD AND REEL IN HER HANDS. THE CONDITIONS WERE SIMPLY AWFUL, WITH WINDS AT 30 AND STRONGER OUT OF THE SOUTH EAST. WITH CAPT. RANDY’S VAST KNOWLEDGE WE WERE ABLE TO FIND A PLACE SOME WHAT OUT OF THE WIND AND LIMITED OUT ON VERY NICE SLOT RED FISH. THE WIFE HAD A BLAST AND I ENJOYED WATCHING HER CATCH FISH. IF YOU WANT THE BEST, BOOK CART. RANDY AND BE READY FOR A TRIP OF A LIFE TIME.”
– J.L. – Waco, TX
“My father-in-law and I went out with Captain Randy Monday April 25th. Let me tell you, WE HAD A BLAST! The conditions were definitely against us (lack of bait moving, 30+ mile per hour winds, other boats coming into our spots, etc.) but Captain Randy put us on fish. We caught several speckled trout ranging from 17-20″ in length. He was interesting to talk with, extremely knowledgeable, and patient(believe me…I probably got hung up 10 times and constantly had to re-bait). He offered me pointers and after a while I was casting like a pro and catching fish. My father-in-law and I are already getting our schedules together to book another trip in the near future (might bring the wife this time if she’s lucky). Thanks again for a great trip.”
– Jacques G. – Beaumont, TX
“In my line of work I travel all over the country and have fished all over the U.S. and have found the captain to be one of the best guides I have ever dealt with.I have fished with Captain Randy many times now. I can honestly say that the man will do everything it takes to put you on the fish. Also if you fish the area you can always call him and he is not scared to give you any tips to ensure that you have a good day on the water also. If your looking to be lazy then you need to speak to someone else, because he will be on your butt about fishing and the only way to be catching is casting. I always have a great time with the man and highly recommend the captain to anyone thats looking to catch some fish and learn a lot about the area that your fishing in.”
– Todd A. – TX
“Capt. Randy Foreman ONCE AGAIN ON JAN 13TH. I WAS ABLE TO GO BACK TO THE COAST AND MAKE ANOTHER WONDERFUL TRIP WITH CAPT, RANDY. WITH MY TIME SCHEDULE WE WERE ONLY ABLE TO FISH A FEW HOURS, BUT THAT’S ALL IT TOOK. IN NO TIME AT ALL WE LIMITED OUT ON REDFISH AND EVEN HAD A FEW REAL NICE FLOUNDER. THEN WE SPENT THE REST OF WHAT LITTLE TIME I HAD CATCHING AND RELEASING REDFISH. I PROMISE YOU WE CAUGHT AND RELEASED OVER 30 REDFISH AND LOST A BUNCH. WHEN YOU BOOK CAPT. RANDY BE READY FOR A FISHING TRIP OF A LIFE TIME AND A WEALT OF KNOWLEDGE. AS CAPT. RANDY IS FULL TIME HE KNOWS WHERE AND WHAT THE FISH ARE DOING YEAR ROUND.”
– J. L. WACO, TX
“We never thought that we could catch fish in late December, but limited out in about 3hours on December 22,2010 with Capt. Randy. He was very patient with our (especially my) lack of ability to cast with his rods and reels and took the time to teach us. He was also very adamant about safety rules and that we do what he told us to do. He assured us that if we followed his directions we would catch fish and catch them we did. We had an enormous amount of fun by doing what he told us to do and following his simple directions we quickly hauled in our 25 redfish and had to return home. Of course after you have caught that many of those big fish you ARE TIRED!!! Redfish are great fun to catch because they fight and Capt. Randy is a great help to get your fish into the boat and get you ready to get your line into the water to get another one so you are not going to miss many of those beautiful fish. It was one of the most fun fishing trips I have been on in a long time.”
– Lou Ann J.
“We fished for Reds for the first time with Captain Randy. It rained all day so hard we could not see shore line allot of the time and he did not stop fishing until we were done. We had a great time with him. I would recommend that you book a trip will him.”
– A. Stewart – Ardmore, OK
“12-28-10. I fished with Capt. Randy for the first time. We started slow but it was a cold mourninig. Capt. Randy was not at all discourged. We countinued fishing and the next thing you know we had 12 red fish the boat. All aroung 5 to 10 pounders. Nice fish! We cought limit, 20 reds total. It was a great time. I recomend it to any one who wants to catch fish. If you want to catch fish call Capt. Randy, if you do not want to catch fish well, call him any way and one trip will change your mind. Capt. Randy knows how to catch them, listen to what he says and you will leave with your limit too. Thanks for the advice, the fish, and the best fishing around.”
– Neil A. – San Antonio, TX
“WOW!!!!!! What a great family fun day. We limited out on reds in just 3 hours! That was not the most important part though…watching our 7 year old grandson get so excited about catching his first redfish made the whole trip worthwhile. His excitement was such fun to watch, however, it wasn’t long until we all were catching fish and having fun. Capt. Randy’s patience with our lack of skill in casting was amazing. He was an excellent teacher and even I soon became proficient in that. His concern for safety was also paramount. His skill as a guide was evident in the number and size of the redfish we caught. It was a thrilling day for our family. Who would have thought a day in December would have been such a perfect fishing day. We will definitely be returning to fish with Capt. Randy.”
– The Johnsons
“Randy’s quest for big bull reds is the most fun you can have on the water legally!!! The only problem with catching 10 lbs big reds is those pesky 4 to 6 lbs speckle trout getting in the way. I guess that’s OK too! No Louisiana boat ride, just straight to the “special” spots that hold big fish. Cap’n Randy dedication to put you on fish is one of the best experience you have to appreciate. Thank you very much for taking care of my dear friends Greenhorn Steve and Mad Clyde.”
– Tall Tony
“Captain Randy really knows his fish after setting us on them he had a few tips to get the fish in The boat. The whether was nice for a Dec. day. I think Captain Randy is the best guide you Will ever find in south east Texas. If you are ever in southeast Texas Captain Randy is the MAN!!!!!”
– Brain P. – Charlotte, NC
“We had the pleasure of fishing with Captin Randy on 11/21/2010. We caught 36 flounder in about 3 hrs. we were around several other boats and waiders but with captin Randys instuctions on just how to work the lures we were catching more fish then anyone around us. my girl friends daughter 11 year old Kaitlynn had never ben fishing this was her very first time to even cast a rod Captin Randy took the time to teach her exactly how use the gear and she caught as many fish as the rest of us. SHE LOVED IT!! Thanks Captin Randy I know kaitlynn will never forget her first fishing trip and neither will I.”
